High Five for Friday

I honestly can’t believe it’s Friday already! This week has FLOWN by! Hello there, weekend. I’m very excited to see you! I’m linking up with Lauren today, as usual.

1. Last Saturday was a bit of a bust for the Vikings (they lost to the Packers in the NFL playoffs), but we had a fun time at a local bar watching the game with some friends. We even got sent shots of WATER from the Packers fans that were there. That was a first!

2. We made stuffed shells with homemade ricotta. They were so good. I ate them for 3 meals and was perfectly happy!

3. Sunday afternoon we took Basil to a local park for a snow hike. He had so much fun! It was great for change of scenery for all of us. It was pretty darn chilly, but it was certainly fun.
Snow hike!

4. Lil Sis bought this weird, soy drink in a can for Nick to try. She said it was just weird enough to buy, and Nick was just weird enough to try it. Too bad he didn’t like it. I can’t stop laughing at his facial expression! Too funny!
Nick wasn't such a big fan of the drink Ang got him

5. I started a J-term class at church this morning (it will meet for 4 Thursdays) called “Marriage by the Book”. I’m excited about it. It’s refreshing to talk to other women about marriage. Struggles, joys, and how God is refining us everyday by using our marriages. I’m looking forward to the next 3 weeks to come!

I hope you have a great weekend! We’re having dinner with some friends tonight (Mexican! Yum!) and watching the Golden Globes on Sunday night. Do you have any fun or exciting plans?
