High Five for Friday

It’s been quite a week, folks. Stressful, rainy, cranky and LONG. It’s been raining almost non-stop and we’ve got water in our basement. Gross. (thankfully, we don’t have a finished basement) I’m glad that there were slices of good things this week, or I might have really lost it! While I’m super thankful it’s Friday, it was a bit hard finding five things this week. And it’s not necessarily going to be a restful, quiet weekend, either. Such is life! There is a season for all things. God is good!

I’m linking up with Lauren today, just like always.

1. I started a new running program on Sunday afternoon (it was actually sunny and 72 for a bit!) and ran with these two. We had a great time!

2. I can’t stop eating this cookie dough.

3. I baked a killer cake for dinner with friends. It totally exceeded my expectations. I’ll post the recipe next week!

4. We had some great friends over for dinner last night. It was great fun! Reminded me we definitely need to hang out more often. We made ratatouille for dinner – it was a success!

5. It’s Friday. Nick doesn’t have to work for 2 days. Yay!

Have a great weekend! Any fun or exciting plans?

  1. High five for Friday indeed! The cake looks amazing, as does the ratatouille! I’d like to stick my entire face into the cake though. And lick the frosting clean, somehow. Guess I’ll need to practice first. Mmmm, great pics!
